Aircraft Hangar Door

Having a minimum design wind load of 20 PSF, Hangar Doors are designed and constructed to sustain a superimposed load, both inward and outward, equal to 1- 1/2 times the minimum design wind load with a deflection not more than 1/120 of the door width and height. Doors are weather-stripped to provide weather-tight enclosures of the opening when door is in fully closed position.

 Structural members are designed and connected in accordance with pertinent provisions of AISC ASD Manual & AISC LRFD Vol II, welded in accordance with AWS D1.1., and high-strengh bolted in accordance with AISC ASD Manual.
