Acoustical (Sound Resistant) Doors are tested to ASTM E 90-90 and classified in accordance to ASTM E 413-87 for the following STC values.

STC 31 Acoustical Doors;45 mm thick, polyurethane insulated 48 kg/m2 density with seals. Doors are also fire rated.

STC 38 and STC 42 acoustical doors 45 mm thick ,steel stiffened with rock wool or fibre glass insulation and seals.

STC 47 acoustical doors;45 mm thick, special construction with gypsum board ,lead and fiberglass insulation and seals. Higher STC values (i.e STC 51 and STC 55 can also be supplied).
